Employment: Full Time

Leadership & Management
- Coordinates the assessment and develops academic programs within the college
- Oversees all personnel matters involving academic and non-academic employees including recruiting, appointment, re-appointment; termination and dismissal, evaluation, promotion and merit; and the preparation and approval(s) of faculty workload plans and professional development plans.
- Ensures quality assurance and management of courses by selection of assignments of faculty and cost effective delivery of courses.
- Supports faculty, course coordinators and department chairs by providing guidance and assists with counseling students.
- Documents curriculum changes associated with all CAA approved curricula within the college.
- Leads the college in securing accreditation from relevant accreditation bodies and ensures maintenance of such accreditations.
- Review program feasibility to decide if it should be offered.
- Discusses, reviews and approves student’s examinations and assessment tools.
- Oversees committee meeting and activities are held and chairs most of the meetings.
- Act as an examiner three times a year and a mentor to all faculty.
- Plans and implements retention strategy for current students.
- Advertises the college activities on various portals to publish the courses and programs offered at the college
- Organizes and attends information sessions,
- Organizes competitions for high school students in order to promote the university
- Ensure financial feasibility of programs

Requirements

- Strategic planning and execution by developing annual action plans, follow up with each college committee to review progress, and update the college counselors and report back to the provost.
- Manages the budget for the college which involves preparation and edits if required.
- Write reports to CAA (Commission for Academic Accreditation) and smaller accreditation bodies.
- Two meetings a year for external accreditation
- PhD from an internationally accredited degree in any discipline
- 4 years of experience as Department Chair (or higher) or an Associate Dean in an internationally accredited university.
