Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Planning/Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for design and elaboration change order/variations, claims, as well as drafting and preparation of client’s claim response analysis and recommendations.

Your practical approach to planning & delay analysis means that you can collaborate with the management team to minimize programme over runs and clearly demonstrate the consequences of delay events.

You will have a good understanding of all stages of a claim from initial forensic and historical analysis, to actual claim stage, and the post claim stage.

You will be able to analyse and demonstrate programmes and identify irregularities and discrepancies relating to time, cost and resource from client’s decisions and all type of events that may occur during all stages of the project.

KEY DUTIES:
- Analysing and preparing schedules and progress reports for client/consultant
- Fact-finding to detailed analysis, identification of critical path, quantification of delay and damages, economic modelling and strategy formation
- Prepare schedule impact analysis of complex claims and change orders/variations to demonstrate entitlement
- Drafting of counter claims for client extensions of time claims
- Preparation of defence strategy to counterclaims and advise regarding retrospective analysis for EOTs, prolongation costs and disruption
- Preparation of monthly and weekly reports
- Use time -impact analysis to produce analytical reports

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc).
- Excellent knowledge of all major planning software, e.g. Primavera plus Microsoft office.
- Minimal experience 12 years
- Experience in construction projects planning department delay analysis works
- UAE/GCC/Middle East is a must
- Good level of written English
- Conditions and salary to be agreed according to candidate’s profile
