Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Controlling the loss and damage of Kitchen equipment by giving proper instruction to the subordinates
- Establish and promotes a good team work within the Kitchen, service, stewarding and F&B supporting Outlets.
- Makes sure that the set-up are always ready so that he/she may give a quick, efficient and quality service.
- Takes a professional self-interest to constantly maintaining a high standard of food preparation / presentation.
- He makes sure all the dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.
- Reports punctually in correct uniform and standard of grooming and is aware of all house rules and procedures, he obeys and enforces them.
- Prepares requisitions of food in advance in order to ensure constant operation and get the approval from Executive Chef / Sous Chef.
- He makes sure all the dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.
- Makes sure that all refrigerators are clean and tidy, checks constantly the stored food items on freshness to prevent the use of spoiled or contaminated products in any phase of food preparation.

- Ensures discipline and insists on personal hygienic appearance of his subordinates.

Requirements

- Culinary degree with experience equivalent in Hospitality Industry
- Knowledgeable in HACCP
- Good communication skills in English language
- Minimum experience of three years of kitchen operation
- Willing to create new things
- Hands on
- Can handle pressure in a high volume
- Knowledge in European Cuisine
