Job description / Role
Demi Chef De Partie up to 5.4k Aed for a Leading Latin American Restaurant in UAE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To ensure minimum kitchen wastage
- To ensure knowledge of the product is maintained and communicated to all relevant personnel
- To be responsible for completing your mis en place
- To comply with all Goodwood policies and procedures to ensure that all statutory regulations are observed.
- To liaise with the Head Chef/Sous Chef and implement new menu/dishes/systems where applicable
- To ensure all statutory regulations are adhered to, such as food hygiene policies
- To be flexible and willing to help the restaurant kitchen at busy times if required
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and high standards of presentation, creative flair and imagination
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
Requirements
- POSITION: Demi Chef De Partie
- SALARY: 5,400 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
- HIRING COMPANY: Latin American Restaurant
- LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
- AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Open to ANY nationality, Latin-American nationals will be preferred
- Male/Female, 40 years old and below
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Hotel Management Graduate or Culinary Degree
- Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as DCDP within hospitality sector, ideally in a fine dining operation
- Experience in MEXICAN, SPANISH or LATIN AMERICAN cuisines is a must
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications, including Basic Food Hygiene
- Ability to meet hygiene standards
