Deputy Manager - Accounts

Job description / Role

- Proficient in day to day accounting and ability to independently handle finalization of accounts up to Profit & Loss / Balance Sheet level with knowledge of accounting policies and standards.
- Hands-on experience in Accounting software / ERP in a multi-currency/multi-user environment.
- Experience in preparation of Budgets (forecasting).
- Thorough Banking experience including but not limited to operating of Bank accounts, handling of banking facilities, handling treasury operations, close/regular coordination with the Banks.
- Experience of handling Export / Import LCs (complete process).
- Experience of having worked in an environment of monthly closing of accounts with strict deadlines.
- Experience of coordinating on internal and external audits, compliance and internal controls; assist auditors in gathering information.
- Good knowledge of local rules and regulations regarding employee affairs and trade (Customs rules etc.)
- Proficient in MS office

Requirements

- Bachelor / Masters degree in Accounts (B.Com / M.Com).
- Minimum 5 years experience in UAE in a similar role in a Trading Company and overall experience of 8+ years.
- Age between 30-35 years.
