Deputy Manager - Finance

Job description / Role

- Monitors the performances of Joint Venture businesses and highlight management on deviations. Ensures MIS reports are submitted on time and audits are completed for all companies.
- Manages accounts payable function including project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness and analyses reasons of deviations from original plan.
- Acts as a functional consultant for finance department to implement / enhance new IT projects by understanding business processes, gathering required information and functional specifications from different businesses.
- Reviews processes and work flows independently and reports back with recommendations for corrective action
- Identify and recommends cost saving opportunities for the Group

Requirements

- 7-8 years of work experiences in a large sized organization preferably retail
- Expert knowledge of the financial modules of Navision 2009 or any other ERP
- Advanced knowledge of working in financial models in Ms. Excel
- Must have Strong functional knowledge of Standard business process flows in any ERP (GL, AR, AP, FA & CM) and related modules.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with individuals in different roles and personalities. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Ability to perform multiple assignments without supervision. Attention to detail is a prerequisite for this position.
- Should be willing to move around within the UAE as well as in GCC
