Job description / Role
Leading Retail brand within large UAE Trading house are looking for an Design Coordinator to assist the Architect manager with the rollout of a luxury department store concept/multiple sites, throughout the Middle East.
You will provide comprehensive support for daily activities including: communication with lead architect and contractors, project documentation, meeting preparation, planning and execution of schedules and deadlines while maintaining a highly organized and efficient office management system.
Other key responsibilities include:
• Maintain constant communication and understanding with Architect Manager for project scope, deliverables, schedules, deadlines and budgets.
• Drafting internal & external emails.
• Schedule, coordinate & manage all essential tasks required before and after meetings including materials, agendas, presentations and minutes along with follow ups.
• Office management and document control consisting of sign offs, programming, finance, calendar management, travel & other required office duties.
• Provide project documentation, reporting and project approvals.
• Material management
• Internal deadlines (commercial teams & department store teams)
• Preparing design packages
• Monitoring the design process from concept up until store opening
Requirements
This individual will come from an Interiors or Architecture background with approx. 10 years experience, assisting in delivery of projects within a consultancy environment.
Retail/Department store project delivery experience is highly advantageous.
The ability to work under fast track project deadlines is necessary.
Excellent negotiation and coordination abilities to manage external stake holder relationships.
