Job description / Role
- Manages the production of design information to meet the project programme, in coordination with Design Manager
- Review design documentation of multi-disciplines and ensure design are coordinated.
- Coordinates with the construction team to produce an integrated design
- Monitor the production of design information against procurement programme
- Conducts technical review of the project design, in coordination with design consultants and contractor’s design team.
- Checks and audits information provided by the Design team against project requirements
- Manage shop drawing production in conjunction with project program.
- Takes part in internal work meetings with procurement and construction team.
- Coordinates the project procedures for the control of design and for the control of documents
- Coordinate with subcontractors for their shop drawing production and technical submissions. Conduct meeting prepare minutes of meetings
- Well versed in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge in CAD and Autodesk Revit.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma, or equivalent, in an Engineering/Architectural subject is essential.
- Fluent English both written and spoken
- Good grasp of Engineering procedures and processes is also a must
- Good understanding of engineering drawings
- Previous experience as either design site representative or site engineer with design input.
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience of multi discipline building construction projects in Middle East
