A fantastic opportunity has opened for Design Manager in Dubai. Our client is a market-leading Contractor seeking a Design Manager to fulfil a role in development of Commercial Office space.

Job Description
- Develop presentations, concept designs, drawings and specifications.
- Manage material costs and specifications..
- Ability to work within multi-national teams.
- Ability to plan forward and motivate a large team working towards different goals to enable them to work together to produce a coordinated and coherent design.
- Encouraging and inspiring design consultants to produce their best work using their full flair, experience, resources and talents in a cost effective way.
- Ensuring the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate.

Requirements

- Proven track record with a major fit out contractor in the UAE.
- Bachelor in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Commercially astute, numerate, risk averse & able to accurately forecast project requirements.
- Able to work well within a team based environment.
- Proven ability to manage and regulate the design process utilising your commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and technical expertise.
- Be a multitasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Ability to present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner as well as regulate and promote the ideas of others.
- Have good practical organization skills, planning of resources and program scheduling.
- IT Literate - able to use Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, working knowledge of Autocad.
