Job description / Role
Required Responsibilities though may not be limited to the following:
- Review and evaluate all architectural drawings and all related specifications.
- Review all related systems.
- Attend meetings with the Project Manager, Consultant and Client for coordination and workshops as necessary.
- Communicate and interface between structural, architectural, MEP, procurement and any other services to ensure the proper technical execution of project works as per the requirement
- Oversee the preparation and review of Shop Drawings
- Accomplish the target that the Shop Drawing Preparation will be achieved within the approved time schedule and quality, to the satisfaction of the Project Management.
- Lead the efforts on planning, procuring, producing shop drawings and site supervision
- Ensure the proper implementation and execution of works on site as per approved shop drawings, materials and methods.
- Report to management as per company’s systems and procedures for the successful execution of the project and achieving company’s goals.
- Value Engineering – Set & agreed on the list of ideas & proposals
- Managing the design including the review of all the materials / shop drawings submittals
- Managing the design development
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Architecture
- Required strong experience of pre and post concepts, Tender stage, site involvement, Technical review with an accuracy.
- should be involved in all stages of the design process from concept right through to construction
- Previously been involved in value engineering and cost effective measures
- Prior experience working on projects including - master plans, high end villas / residential, high rise and hospitality projects
- Previous experience working in Middle East is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills are a pre-requisite of the role.
- Minimum 15 to 20+ years of experience is required.
