Job description / Role
- Developing strategies and roadmaps for BI and Analytics solutions
- Designing and implementing enterprise data and reporting architectures
- Developing data governance, quality processes and related business operating models
- Designing and implementing data integration and data conversion solutions in line with batch or real-time information delivery.
- Defining end-user reporting, analytics and dashboard frameworks from requirement definition through to end user deployment.
Requirements
- 2 years working knowledge of Business Intelligence strategy, solutions design & implementation, methodologies, and business application.
- Familiarity with Data Management, Big Data Solutions and ETLs tools Proven track record of deploying systemic solutions into a business environment.
- Data Warehouse and Metadata Management: SAP BW, Kalido, Business Objects Data Services (BODS).
Key Skills:
- Typical roles will involve working within a team to perform some or all of the following:
- Designing and implementing BI technical and operational architecture / frameworks
- Data modelling and data architecture design / implementation
- ETL, data integration and data conversion design / implementation
- Defining and implementing metadata management structures and processes
- End-user report development, from requirement gathering to design, build, test, deploy
- Project management and business development
Management Systems:
- Teradata, Oracle, IBM DB2 UDB, SQL Server.
- Master Data Management solutions (e.g. Siperian, Tibco CIM)
- Professional Requirements:
- Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thought
- Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel
