Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Develop and implement strategic digital communications campaigns across a number of brands, bringing together social media, video, digital display and SEM. Provide rigorous reporting on all digital activities you lead and constantly evolve and optimize digital practice in the affiliate under the leadership of the Corporate Online Manager. You will also be responsible for the line management and development of one corporate community coordinator.

Key Performance Areas & Description

Project Management - 30% of the time
* Ensure each brand you are responsible for executes digital activities which make best use of the brand's digital budget, and assist the brands in following regional digital spend guidelines.
* Work closely with internal and external digital stakeholders (ie Regional digital team, production agency, Media agency) to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and within approved brand creative guidelines.
* Work closely with PR, marketing, education to ensure genuine 360 digital campaign delivery.
* Provide regular updates both written and verbal on project progress to the Corporate Online Manager and relevant Marketing Manager.
* Utilize a range of project management tools to ensure smooth running of projects .

Analysis - 20% of the time
* Ensure measurement and written analysis of all online campaigns and consistently provide strategic recommendations which are then fed into future campaigns.
* Review digital advertising strategies on at least a quarterly basis with a view to arriving at opportunities and areas for optimization in our investments.

Strategy, Insights and Solutions - 20% of the time
* Act as an expert resource for brand teams, providing strategic, brand appropriate, advice on all digital activities current and future.
* Participate in regular best practice sharing with your European and Global digital colleagues and ensure the insights you gain are, where appropriate, implemented on a local level.
* Keep abreast of key digital, consumer and prestige trends and find valuable ways of responding to, or harnessing these trends in the digital projects you deliver.

Digital Expertise - 20% of the time
* Have a full technical understanding of key social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, with experience of website management also a plus.
* Be fluent with the Google, Facebook and YouTube advertising offerings in the Middle East.
* Have a strong understanding with the latest digital display options, and forum engagement for brands.

Others - 10% of the time
* Contribute to the overall understanding of digital across the affiliate with regular leadership of best practice presentations.
* Takes an active role in the development of 1 x corporate community coordinator and undertakes all line management responsibilities as set out by the Affiliate.
* Reflect company and brands grooming guidelines at all times.
* Follows and communicates brand philosophy to the internal and external groups and media
* Enhance self-understanding of product information, PR and Marketing calendar, and sub-categories under the Communications Dept
* Able to follow detailed guidelines, confident with numbers and budgeting, able to work with basic excel spreadsheets.

Requirements

* Demonstrable, solid experience in a digital decision making role for either, a Prestige, FMCG or other 'client side' company, or potentially, an agency environment where you've been exposed to all elements of the digital skill set outlined above.
* Ideally E-Commerce experience.
* Line management/people management experience.
* Strong project management skills, with evidence of having led or been a key player in complicated projects with large numbers of stakeholders
* Excellent standard of written English and particularly, the ability to write in different styles: happy to move seamlessly between social copy, and strategic business analysis in formal reports. You will be tested on both during the interview phase.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear directions from often complex sets of information, and happy to spend time writing reports as well as being creative.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a can do attitude, and clear passion for digital.
* A confident public speaker, comfortable with presenting often complex ideas to a lay audience. You must be able to communicate clearly to people for whom digital is not their key area of expertise.
