Digital Consultant

Job description / Role

- Responsible for definition of Enterprise and Consumer Mobile applications / solutions for client team and client during the opportunity stage.
- Owns the overall solution plan deliverable which includes the solution blueprint/architecture, estimates, and costing for mobile solution opportunities
- Consult and advice business and technology delivery leadership on how to translate the client’s mobile business requirements into mobile technology solutions.
- Assess market mobile technology choices to determine fit, including software, hardware, etc.
- Interact with the digital delivery organization to shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, and determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver.
- Execute a smooth transition to delivery teams.
- Lead initiatives to deploy new Enterprise and Consumer mobile solutions reference architectures
- Help evolve methodology and estimators used for mobile solutions.
- Provide thought leadership around best practices and new/emerging concepts in the areas of mobile application, mobile devices and OS, mobile middleware platforms.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge and expertise through active participation in training and development programs, review of professional publications, access to personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
- Develop partnerships and relationships within the organization with colleagues (including superiors, peers and subordinates), as well as with clients, partners and other business associates outside of the Company

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of mobile solution / technologies and package software implementation experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical/Application Architect in Mobile solutions.
- Estimating experience for software projects

Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:
- Experience in software engineering and mobile application/solution related services.
- Estimating experience for software projects.
- Experience with Agile SCRUM testing
- Experience working with diverse, global teams.
- Experience with software design and build.
- Industry skills in at least one industry.
- Experience designing a methodology.
- Exposure to Web services, RESTful services, SOA architecture
- Proven Experience in architecting and implementing solutions with mobile devices ( iOS, Android), HTML5, CSS3, JAVASCRIPT Frameworks such as Angular, Backbone, Node.JS, MADP platforms such as Kony, IBM Worklight , PhoneGap, Sencha, Appcelerator
- Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management, (MAM), Mobile Application Store (MAS).
