Job description / Role
We are seeking a creative Graphic Designer / Junior Art Director with experience in both print and electronic media. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work.
OBJECTIVE
Ensure that the company branding remains consistent and is used properly by external parties, working closely with our marketing & brands partnership teams.
The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in carrying out these responsibilities:
• Formal graphic design training
• Comfortable working on bilingual design projects (English and Arabic)
• Responsible for managing print orders and dealing with external suppliers/printers
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Understanding of production, pre-press, print and web-based technologies
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of common industry applications (i.e., Adobe CC suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• 2-3 years professional experience
• A graphic design related degree
• Preferably someone with past experience in the beauty industry
• Proficient in English & Arabic
• Basic photography skills required
