Director Digital Strategy - Global Agency

Our client is a global agency looking to expand further in Dubai & GCC.

The Director, Digital Strategy ensures that the Agency is providing high-quality integrated service to the Client in all key Digital areas: Strategy, Research, Media, and Creative.

• Responsible for leveraging consumer and industry insight to develop strategies that motivate consumers to interact with the client’s brand across the entire digital ecosystem including web, search, social, mobile, CRM and omni-channel platform environments
• Be the connective tissue between the client’s business strategy and media strategy
• Work cross-functionally with SEM, Social, and Programmatic teams to develop pan-digital campaign recommendations and cross-channel insights to bring strategies to life and meet and exceed client goals
• Keep a pulse on client business goals and drivers, as well as marketplace and emerging trends that influence business performance
• Partner with agency and client MarTech teams to identify white-space opportunities for augmenting client’s tech stack through complementary data solutions
• Write digital POVs, proposals, presentations
• Work directly with clients at the outset of an assignment to define (or redefine) the right opportunity and the right problem to solve
• Present directly to clients – gaining their trust by telling a concise and compelling story to explain our strategies and approach
• Collaborate and work closely with analytics team to develop comprehensive measurement and tracking plans to measure key performance and develop optimization recommendations
• Stay up to date with the latest digital technology and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in: Advertising, Marketing (concentration in Digital Media) or Business Administration; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of relevant experience at a media agency, digital strategy consultancy, or technology consulting and management firm
• Understanding of media principles, media planning fundamentals and how media is bought, as well as a thorough understanding of marketing communication channels
• Experience in Digital Media strategies, planning and execution to meet Awareness and Customer Acquisition objectives across all channels.
• Fluency in data, and a proven record of infusing data into activation ideas and plans
• Up-to-date understanding of market trends and a keen interest in following emerging technologies.
• Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
• Optimistic and resilient – Dig in and figure out how to work around problems
• Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships internally, with media partners, and with clients.
• Intellectually curious
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
