Director of Business Process Management - Dubai

An established group in Dubai is seeking a Director of Business Process Management. This person will be responsible for business process management activities within the group including development of business processes, periodic updates towards the aim of continuously identifying areas for improvement and methods to reduce processing times and overall cost, and improve quality, in line with the organisations corporate strategy. The selected candidate will be required to work independently and report directly into the CEO- there will also be interaction and collaboration with external consultants and research firms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Process & Policy Development
* To develop processes for new functions within the business.
* To develop key policies for business functions across HR, Leasing, Procurement etc.
* To ensure processes & policies documentation are maintained & archived.
* To update processes & policies when required by the business.

Process Monitoring
* Establish measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all core processes, to monitor progress towards the fulfilment of the operational targets & strategic goals.
* Lead the analysis of core process performance in order to identify opportunities to drive improvements in efficiency / quality / costs, in line with best practices.

Process Improvement
* Deploy process improvement methodologies e.g. lean, six sigma, etc, to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities in business processes (both for corporate functions & core business areas).
* Identify opportunities for process automation & coordinate between end user departments and group IT to implement process automation.
* Coordinate with Group IT to prioritize and plan automation projects, monitor and report on progress to management.
* Ensure that the function is carrying research in comparison to historical data, internal and external benchmarks, to identify performance improvement opportunities in line with function/industry best practice processes across the business.
* Where required, manage and coordinate standards certification-related activities.

Governance
* Manage the company's Delegation of Authority framework
* Advise and facilitate transaction compliance reviews & investigations

General Admin
* Provide direction and motivate staff within the organization to enhance performance and work quality

Requirements

* Graduate degree in Business Administration equivalent
* 10 years' experience within business process management / excellence / process improvement role, with at least 3 years of experience in a senior managerial role.
* Improve process efficiency based on leading practices and keep up to date with governmental regulations.
* Maintain a robust understanding of the leading practice trends within the property management sector.
