Director of Financial Planning & Analysis - Retail Banking

Our client is a leading bank in the Middle East. They are looking for a high calibre Director in their Retail Banking Division. The Director will be reporting to the CFO of the Retail Banking division.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Direct responsibility for financial planning & analysis functions: long term plan, annual budget and forecast development
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and adhoc forecasts to provide direction and insight to business leaders to support decision making
- Work in partnership with other finance leaders on long-term financial models, identifying key inputs and reviewing output for scenario planning and other strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with CFO on key financial metrics
- Collect, analyze, and present financial information to business partners, identifying risks and opportunities; take a leadership role in developing solutions and driving performance
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders to identify business performance reporting challenges and priorities
- Work with other business owners and IT to define business requirements and develop integrated technology solutions
- Conduct financial modeling, analysis, and valuation support for new product development and acquisitions

The role is to assist the CFO of the Retail Banking division.

You will be responsible for the oversight of management reports, operational analysis, statistical studies, and developing recommended action for all operational areas.

Requirements

- An international finance background and international finance qualifications
- Extensive FP&A experience in retail banking
- Arabic Speaking
