Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The L&D Director role will have a L&D Manager & L&D Officer, and L&D Trainer, and Administrative Assistant reporting to them, with the role reporting to the Senior VP for HR. There are various departmental trainers as well that would be guided by the L&D team.

- Fully accountable for the successful delivery of initiatives relating to learning and development, performance management, talent development, employee engagement and diversity and compliance training for 4,ooo+ employees, and continually evaluating and reporting on their impact to senior management teams
- Leading the creation and implementation of strategic development, career planning and employee retention programs that deliver high performing and motivated employees with the necessary skills and competencies to deliver strong results and to progress within their roles
- Overseeing audit processes relating to ongoing performance to ensure the continued maintenance and delivery of business systems across all internal systems
- Delivering tailored performance and career development coaching to a diverse range of individuals including providing performance coaching to trainees and interns and providing regular feedback and evaluation reports to departmental heads for their timely intervention if necessary
- Ensuring the continued development of individuals, identifying key areas of focus through regular needs analysis and developing a broad spectrum of training programs to meet these needs
- Responsible for setting and managing large budgets and implementing effective controls to ensure the delivery of organizational development initiatives within these budgets
- Continued success of in-house management and leadership development programmes
- Delivery of leadership & management training programmes
- Coaching & mentoring the Training Managers

Requirements

Hospitality experience is much preferred but not a necessity. You MUST have a proven record developing L&D strategy and managing a team.

Will consider out of region, all nationalities welcome. You should have at least 8 years in a similar role ideally with ME or Asia Pacific experience.
