Director of Pre-Opening Procurement

Report to VP Procurement IMEAT

Responsibilities:

- Responsible of the pre-opening procurement P&L within the Procurement division.
- Develop strategic projects procurement activities.
- Responsible to lead the pre-opening team and support the development and design/technical teams on new projects
- Ensure brand standards are implemented in all new projects of IMEAT
- Support the owners on budgeting FF&E and OS&E and deliver projects within budget.
- Coordinate procurement activities with owners teams, procurement companies and consultants
- Develop / maintain generic OS&E/ FF&E database for all Accor Brands
- Enrich the Suppliers database with a Glocal strategy
- Environment, Social , Governance : Deploy the ESG group strategy within IMEAT region
- Develop KPI and metrics to measure the performance of the pre-opening procurement department
- Digitalize the function through the development of a collaborative procurement platform
- Work with designers, F&B consultants and owners to oversee and optimize procurement of FF&E, OS&E.
- Provide technical support and project management input for new projects
- Direct project management of procurement activities with owners teams.

Requirements

Skills:

- Experience in procurement and logistics management, strategic planning of hotel projects.
- Management of workforce in fast running operations.
- Proven negotiator, strong commercial acumen coupled with effective problem solving skills.
- Result oriented : on time and below budget deliveries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients and business networks.

Experience:

- 15 years in hospitality procurement , ideally in IMEA
- Vast knowledge of Luxury and lifestyle hospitality
- Master degree/ MBA
- Previous experience in Procurement companies, Operator or Real Estate Developer
- Job in English, French /Arabic is a +
- Travel : 30%
