Director - PR & Communications (Arabic Speaker)

Job description / Role

Client is a leading PR and communications agency is looking for an experienced communications professional to join their expanding team.

The main responsibilities will include:
- Client handling and advice (including maintaining strong relationships with senior staff such as CEO, CFO, Communications Directors and Partners)
- Media Handling
- Identifying new Business and Networking
- Using financial knowledge and understanding of markets/financial transactions and their specialist skills to give strategic advice and drive communication programmes
- Understanding the analyst community and the regional and global markets
- Managing team, acting as a driver on the accounts
- Understanding the business community, contributing to the development of the firm and effectively commanding the respect of peers/colleagues

Requirements

- 10 years + experience working as a communications specialist in communications agencies or other consultancies.
- The ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English as well as in Arabic
- Proven experience managing teams and working closely with senior level staff.
