Director Project Management Sales

Job description / Role

The role is based in Dubai within Sales Department and is primarily devoted to develop, manage and execute project within Sales Department, develop and manage process improvement & governance initiatives and ensure continuous enforcement of sales operations/execution based on target performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish, manage, and lead the team of Project Managers to achieve the principle function of Project Management within Sales organization.
- Ensure appropriate management of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing phases of project within sales.
- Define and attain benchmarks and KPI for the 9 critical areas of Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communication, Risk, & Procurement.
- Defines and authorizes the project or a project phase.
- Defines and refines objectives, and plans the course of action required to attain the objective and scope that the project was undertaken to address.
- Integrates people and other resources to carry out the assigned projects.
- Regularly measures and monitors progress to identify variances from the project management team so that corrective action can be taken when necessary to meet project team objectives.
- Safeguard acceptance of the product, service or result and bring the project or a project phase to an orderly end.
- Providing timely and accurate project status updates and reporting.
- Reviews projects performance, analyzes available data to see if there are; recurring issues, roadblocks, constant delays, short cuts and inefficiencies.
- Examine and evaluate the current process and develop plans to maximize effectiveness.
- Identifies opportunities to improve process, planning or performance through analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field.
- Applicants must have Project Management certification/training such as PMP.
- 6-8 years’ experience in Project Management, applicants with experience in Telecommunications Industry will be given an added advantage.
