Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly corporate investment company based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking to hire an experienced, professional and refined candidate to join their facilities management operation as a Document Controller.
As Document Controller you will be responsible for liaising with the FM team and specialised contractors to ensure that everything is logged and up-to-date in their systems. You will use various software and document packages to ensure that reporting is completed and maintained in a timely and efficient manner. You will also look after records for loss prevention within facilities management and supply chain. You will create work permits for contractors whilst supporting the FM team by providing appropriate updates in terms of project delivery and maintenance claims. You will store paperwork, documents and all hard copies of confidential reports as well as the soft copies to their CRM system.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have more than 5 years' experience working in a document controller position within a facilities management function. Ideally this experience will come from a highly corporate organisation where best practices are employed and employees hold a high degree of accountability. You will be impeccably well presented, with excellent communication skills and experience working with documentation to build an online and hard copy library. Our client has specified a preference for a candidate coming from a multinational organisation.
