Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To ensure complete execution of contracts including contract management, documents handling in compliance with the local and international regulations as well as maintaining records as per work instructions, liaise with counter-parties and perform logistical and commercial tasks

Duties:
- Check and Issue/receive contracts/addendums as per sale/purchase confirmation and underlying applicable rules.
- Investigate and prepare all documents as per contract & underlying applicable rules and regulations.
- Maintain database and contracts / shipments files and other relevant documents.
- Support and coordinate with trade and shipping team for smooth execution of contracts.
- Liaise with suppliers, buyers, surveyors and trade & shipping team to ensure shipments are carried out in accordance with contractual terms and regulations including, follow up and receipt and sending of appropriate notices, as and when required.
- Check, prepare and follow up on any payable/receivable invoices, debit notes and payment request forms for settlements due.
- Liaise with finance team and follow up on payments / collection to ensure timely payment / collections in compliance with the contract terms.
- Maintain adherence as per company policy and work instructions for enhancing client relations.
- Maintain an open communication line for answering clients’ questions and providing helpful information to other callers.
- Maintains contact with customers to inform the status of the shipments.

Requirements

- Candidate must have experience with LC (letters of credit) documents preferably in banking industry
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field (Preferably Commerce Graduate)
- Thorough knowledge of commercial, financial and other shipping documents
- Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with database management program and MS Office.
- Any nationality, Any gender

Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
