Job description / Role
• Prepare drawings (linear, shop etc.) as instructed by the Design & Development Manager.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of bills of material.
• Work directly with sales staff to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with verbal and written descriptions.
• Work closely with all departments in the plant to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
• Utilize drafting resources to efficiently carry out above mentioned tasks.
• Maintain organized archiving of all approved products and shop drawings.
Requirements
The desired candidate must have:
• Previous experience in drafting loose furniture, joinery and fit-out related drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and preferably 3D software.
• Technical knowledge of wood and metal related components of furniture
