Drilling Site Leader

Job description / Role

Our client, the NOC for Abu Dhabi, is looking for several degree educated candidates for multiple open vacancies for the role of Drilling Site Leader or Drilling Supervisor.

The job holder will be directing and controlling drilling and work over operations conducted by client staff and contractors, and vendor staff on each assigned rig. Key deliverables will include overseeing the successful implementation of work programs and making necessary adjustments where needed to improve safety and efficiency.

Also required will be the strict implementation of client HSE policy at all times alongside the control of supply of materials and equipment, ensuring the correct items are in place through tight liaison with office based supply chain supervisors and other relevant stakeholders and staff.

Requirements

Candidates will be required to hold a BSc in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering or very similar equivalent, which will be backed up with excellent market experience in a similar role, preferably covering both offshore and land based drilling operations.

Previous experience of acting in a supervisory or superintendent capacity will be beneficial, whilst all candidates must have the ability to work in a multi cultural, multi national team with excellent English language and communication skills.
