Drilling Supervisor

Job description / Role

Our client, the NOC for Abu Dhabi, is currently looking for several experienced and highly skilled Drilling Supervisors, to work on a range of projects with one of a number of the ADNOC subsidaries.

The job holder will be directing and controlling all activities relating to drilling, completion and work over operations carried out by contractors on drill sites. This will include the provision of direction and supervision on operational programes including change management as required when responding to operational challenges, work flows and remits.

Based 100% on site on a 28/28 rotation, further duties will include total compliance with HSE guidance and legislation, inspection and observation of drilling contractors activity in close coordination with Drilling Engineers, review of program progress and implementation of improvement orders where necessary based on knowledge and experience.

Requirements

Candidates must be degree qualified in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering or have significant demonstrable industry experience in similar positions.

Supervisory experience is essential alongside the possession of an H2S and IWCF certificate.

Candidates must show excellent competence in drilling operations, preferably offshore, and should have operated effectively in a diverse cultural, multi national environment, with exposure in the Middle East market a strong advantage.
