Job description / Role
Responsible for: support the sales organization on Drive Systems by providing and deploying processes, methodologies and tools
Regular Responsibilities:
- Provide sales and prescription support to countries for Drive Systems
- Joint customer visits with sales team to support on opportunities
- Provide training to achieve local pre-sales competence
- Coordinate opportunity that involve several sites and/or several geographies
- Regular monitoring and close follow up of opportunities with sales organization
- Based on LoB Marketing inputs, provide full set of prescription tools tailored for the defined market
- Provide feedback to the LoB and regularly inform front office about the Drive Systems offer and value proposition in coordination with LoB Marketing
- Provide permanent updated file about hot opportunities, elephant opportunities and action list from countries
Key Internal Relationships:
- With Process Automation front office Sales and Marketing : to provide the full prescription and sales support, make joint visits to the customer, provide training on the offer and get the full visibility in the projects through Bfo to increase pipeline and hit rate for Drive Systems
- With Drive System LoB Marketing, Tendering, Execution, After sales and Quality : to provide feedback on key project status, push to get the optimized offer for a given project and get regular update on the offer and roadmap
- With Industry and Energy Commercial team and with Global Solutions: to give inputs for the business reviews and feedback on the ongoing and needed actions in the countries / segments
Key External Relationships:
- SE Customers during sales & prescription support and for training
Requirements
Engineer degree or equivalent in Power Electronics and motor control (open for other major) ideally with MBA or equivalent is a plus.
A minimum of 8 years experience in power electronics or electrical distribution and preferably with past experience in large drives business as design engineer, commissioning engineer or product application engineer (PAE)
