Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The opportunity has arisen to join a leading bank with operations lead from the UAE, through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Kingdom and Jersey (Channel Islands); the business also has representative offices in South East Asia.

Their vision is to be a globally recognized leader and provider in the financial services, and become the market leader across its core business lines and retail banking.

• Responsible from the creation of user stories, user experience and UI components and templates including the htmls required both for the English and Arabic portal by interacting with the digital agency
• Verify and control all pages are consistent with the design guideline and rules, ensuring correct templates and UI components are used when creating pages on the portal
• Ensure the right implementation of UI components by the portal management team or IT where necessary
• Collaborate with the digital agency while creating the wireframes, design and htmls
• Responsible from the ecommerce activities of the portal including interacting with merchants to introduce new offers, deals and digital coupons in online banking.
• Lead online streamlines, ensure understanding of business requirements among all stakeholders, track the project implementation process, involve in the UAT stage and deliver the project with maximum quality
• Lifecycle management of online portal projects to outline customer and business requirements, to critically evaluate them, develop and agree on the customer journey and modelling of the business flow using a semi agile approach.
• Understanding the needs of the digitally connected customers, keep up-to-date with current and future online trends and adding new value-added services and transactions that are in demand by customers and aid in the migration to online channel.
• Specify ways to enhance business processes which will turn the current online solution into a world-class platform and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with IT developers, legal and business stakeholders to drive the solution through to delivery
• Previous creative design agency experience with involvement in online banking projects is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

Requirements

The Candidate will be required to:
- Design and structure wireframes for implementing new web services
- Develop design and htmls for the online channel
- Ensure the quality in implementation
- Track results of implemented projects in terms of service and sales contribution
- Propose constant improvements to online services
- Increase online customer usage and generate revenue through higher transaction volumes such as payments
- Strive to migrate transactions from higher cost channels to online generating efficiency gains
- Ensure Risk signed off for every project/ implementation/ amendment of process/ introduction of new channel
- Ensure services meet standards and adhere to regulatory requirements (internal /external requirements)
- Review SLAs with all departments
- Periodic review of processes with internal departments and 3rd party teams as applicable
- Define processes for customer complaint resolution with internal departments and 3rd parties as applicable

You must hold and have previous experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business field is preferred.
• Professional business qualification (in user experience/ecommerce) would be a plus
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience is required in web user experience and/or ecommerce related roles
• Good skills in terms of project management
• Knowledge and understanding of banking products, services, processes and distribution related matters exposure as a
preference
• Proven success working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities while managing tactical and strategic
deliverables, and ability to concurrently manage multiple projects and timeframes.
