Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Digital Marketing Executive will support and maximise brand exposure across all online platforms in accordance with the corporate guidelines to ensure all Group portfolios are accurately represented, and support e-commerce objectives.

The E-Commerce, Digital Marketing Executive will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and interface with Marketing and Communication teams across all properties, as well as liaise with external agencies and vendors when necessary.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist all Marketing and Communications teams in developing their social media and content strategy across existing and new platforms including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Vine, LinkedIn, Google Plus and Foursquare.
- Monitor online platforms and communities to report on new trends and existing conversations around the brands.
- Assist in reviewing social media / digital campaign performances and make recommendations for improving media campaign with the Marketing and Communication teams.
- Assist the E-Commerce Department in reports to analyse monthly website and social media engagement statistics. Keep the Marketing and Communications teams up-to-date by researching and evaluating upcoming social media tools.
- Assist in taking ownership of the enterprise content management systems within the group to ensure best practices for website content updates are implemented.
- Ensure online brand identity is protected and manage website content for all group brands.
- Support in the establishment of e-marketing calendar and assist the Digital Marketing Manager in maintaining the group customer database.
- Participate in online workshops, conferences and networking opportunities to keep abreast with trends in the digital / marketing field.

- Keeping the websites and channels up-to-date

Requirements

- Degree in marketing, e-business, communications or a related field with a minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience in a digital / social media role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Experience in using multiple social media platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Google Plus, Foursquare, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vine, and Instagram.
- Experience in using social monitoring tools such as Radian 6, Google Analytics, Twitter, Reach, Hootsuite, etc.
- The candidate must have an engaging and creative writing style, with the ability to adapt content for different social media platforms.
- Sound judgment and confident in making quick decisions in a fast moving environment, whilst managing relationships and requests with tact, diplomacy and persuasion.
- Strong time management and strong multi-tasking skills.
- Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours to support business objectives.
- Hospitality Experience is essential
