Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The eCommerce Development Manager is responsible for the roadmap and expansion of eCommerce and digital channels across all divisions, both organically and in new markets, by planning and implementing projects and initiatives in line with the company strategy.

Key Accountabilities
- Establish and implement a brand omni-channel development strategy and roadmap to ensure the continued growth of digital channels in line with the company strategy and objectives, as well as the brand's omni-channel and experience objectives
- Act as the custodian for the brand's omni-channel purpose, ensuring that the offering is as close as possible between all the brand's consumer touch points
- Develop and implement multi-channel (and multi-platform) action plans for ecommerce to ensure alignment in the brand experience between the online and physical stores
- Engage with physical stores, operations, product, marketing and customer service stakeholders to identify omni-channel opportunities and requirements outside of the scope of the online store(s)
- Plan, oversee and launch all new e-commerce and omni-channel projects, including launches in new market as well as new functionalities and programs in existing markets
- Manage solutions, platforms, integrator, and hosting partners; Drive the project management, QA, and testing across maintenance and new developments, ensuring the buy-in and support of all concerned departments and functions in the organization
- Ensure QA standards for all new developments as well as existing platforms
- Act as the Relationship Manager for ecommerce solution partners, including integrator partner, content providers, as well as solution suppliers
- Ensure seamless omni-channel integration across digital and physical touch pints, delivering the same brand promise and experience to customers
- Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Marketing; Master's is a plus
- 7 + years of experience in similar role out of which a minimum of 4 years in ecommerce management (ideally in a multi-channel environment), experience in change management and project management
- Strong enterprise ecommerce platform implementation experience and management e.g. hybris, salesforce, OMS, PIM, and content management.
- Evident experience of working within an APP, digital marketing and analytics background.
- Strong SEO understanding and Google stack (GTM, Google analytics, Google Studio).
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Proficiency in MS Office
