Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Acts and behaves in a way that is compliant with company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environment, Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct.
- Sets up and operates test equipment to evaluate performance of electrical parts, assemblies, or systems.
- Assembles electrical and electronic systems according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Provides technical assistance and resolution when electrical problems are encountered before, during, and after production.
- Builds, calibrates, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical instruments or testing equipment.
- Reviews existing electrical engineering criteria to identify necessary revisions, deletions, or amendments to outdated material.
- Collaborates with other technicians to identify, define, or solve maintenance problems.
- Plans method or sequence of operations for developing or testing electrical equipment.
- Analyzes and interprets test information to resolve electrical-related problems.
- Modifies electrical parts, assemblies, or systems to correct functional deviations.
- Actively supports continuous improvement activities within the whole of CPF in order to maintain the company’s efficiency and competitiveness.
- Supports 5S and lean principles within the facility.

Requirements

- Minimum of a high school diploma or vocational training in Electrical Maintenance and Repair
- Other educational qualifications is a plus (e.g. HNC or ONC)
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of electrical maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment

Skills
- Proficient in English
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Must be capable of performing routine electrical maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
