Job description / Role
- Assist the Building Services Supervisor/Electrical Technician in all Technical matters.
- Maintain close communication and report day-to-day operational activities with Building Services Supervisor/Electrical Technician.
- Ensure and assist fire and safety programmes and procedure with in the area of his responsibility.
- Maintain and operate electrical equipment in efficient and economic manner and inspect regularly to avoid any major failures of plant or equipment.
- Assist and co-ordinate with the electrical technician/electrician for updating the as built drawings.
- Represent the electrical technician during his absence.
- Conduct all preventive maintenance, job reports and trouble reports as per schedule.
- Give electrical assistance for external contractors and other departments for exhibitions/events.
Requirements
Tradesman’s Certificate or 7 years’ experience in exhibition stands or 10 years’ experience as an Electrician in exhibition field and the ability to read drawings.
Operate and maintain all electrical equipment and plants as well as giving all electrical related requirements for DWTC in a safe and efficient manner.
