Job description / Role
May plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major engineering task or project requiring large scale expenditure of manpower and financial investment.
Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
Ensures compliance of design with all applicable standards and regulations, providing the seal and signature of the professional engineer when required by statute or contract.
Develops standard design procedures; prepares design briefs and may conduct on-site training of personnel.
Conducts surveys, studies, site investigations.
Performs reliability, availability, maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses.
Helps determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
May assist Section Supervisors with other administrative and technical duties.
Recommends and prepares technical papers.
Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
10 years relevant experience in construction supervision of roads, highways, tunnels, bridges, underpass and associated utilities.
At least 2 years relevant electromechanical site experience in GCC.
