Energy Engineer - Energy Management - Al Futtaim Technologies - Dubai, U.A.E.

As a part of the energy management team, the Energy Engineer will be responsible to perform and manage energy solutions projects in the region. Represent the energy management services and solutions to customers. Prepare the technical and financial proposal of energy related projects. Conduct full energy audits for all energy systems of the buildings. Establish new, and maintain existing, relationships with customers. Perform a comprehensive green building consulting project along with the rating systems; LEED and ESTIDAMA. Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical responsibility. Perform energy modeling as per the international standards.

This role will be based in Dubai, however will involve travelling to KSA, Egypt and Qatar. You will report into the Head - Energy Management.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you should have a Masters degree specialized in Engineering preferred in electrical / low voltage / tele - communication. You should have minimum 5+ years’ experience in energy management in the GCC. Demonstrate a high level of energy management experience especially in Energy services with a record for continuously achieving on-target performance and aggressively complete the projects successfully.This experience should be within a large system integrator. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

LEED / Estidama / CEM certifications are a must have.

Along with previous experience you must have deep knowledge and experience in to the energy management systems and projects. Excellent knowledge and experience in green buildings, energy efficiency services, energy modeling and renewable energy practices.
