Job description / Role
Engineer - Aircraft Maintenance - Dubai
• Perform inspection and certify maintenance work carried out by him and by non-certifying staff allocated under him on Company’s or customer’s aircraft and airborne equipment to the standards required by the Airworthiness Authority and the Company.
• Coordinate and support the respective Manager - Shift MCC Duty Manager in having an effective defect follow up, proper troubleshooting.
• Assist in ensuring proper work documents are raised, controlled and cleared in accordance with approved procedures and methods prior to releasing aircraft for service
• Carry out any other Aircraft maintenance task as and when directed by respective Managers, MCC Shift duty manager, Senior Manager and the EVP.
• Available for one call support and to work on Overtime when required.
• Assist and supplement to other sections, stations and fly along with aircraft as flying engineers as and when required.
• Maintain a company tool box with adequate tools with their identification engraved on them and a permanent list of tools in the toolkit as per the Engineering Procedures Manual.
• Check to ensure that all tooling and equipment provided are serviceable and calibrated and are operated to the Company’s standards and report any unserviceability, to ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Check to ensure that all work areas allocated is maintained in a safe and good housekeeping order.
• Will report directly to the Senior Manager Quality Assurance in respect of all Airworthiness matters connected with the Terms of Approval as described in the Company exposition
• Check to ensure that all manuals and publications available are up to date, treated with care and returned to their storage location.
• Agree & committed for a minimum of 5 years at Mashad or subject to Company discretion.
• One day off in a week due to very minimum working hours per day (one flight coverage).
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical or Aeronautical or Aircraft maintenance Engineers license ICAO type II with 2 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance
• Or Two years college diploma in related discipline OR Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license ICAO type II or EASA license with 4 years of relevant experience
• Or specialized certificate / license in the related field preferably Base Maintenance Engineers course in Aircraft Maintenance. Type rating on two type of aircraft in WY fleet with Secondary School and having 8 years of WY / Aviation experience in similar functions
