Engineering Manager - Marine (Offshore Industries and New Building Projects)
Engineering Manager required with excellent marine engineering experience (Offshore Industries and New Building Projects).
Responsible for:
* Plan, manage, and oversee the daily functions, operations, and activities of the Department / Project engineering teams to continuously improve organisational productivity.
* Coordinate and direct projects, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and deliver projects on-time and within budget.
* Undertake development of systems to fulfil changing legislative requirements and value engineering when required, and pro-actively develop and standardise procedures and methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering services and projects.
* Ensuring jobs undertaken by the Department are accomplished in a professional manner in line with Safety, Quality and Environment requirements.
* Set & achieve productivity targets.
* Control of consumable budget and Capex requirements and ensure optimum use of resources, equipment and manpower.
* Liaising with customer representative to satisfy their needs.
* Provide on the job training to the subordinates, performance assessments and succession planning within the Department.
* Implement and monitor OH&S, Environment and Quality Management System.
Requirements
* Naval Architecture / Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
* Wide experience as Engineering Manager in Marine Projects (Offshore Industries and New Building Projects)
* Sound knowledge and experience in engineering drawings and offshore steel structures.
* Good Planning, Organising, analytical & Communication skills.
