Charterhouse is working with an esteemed client in the energy sector, who is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Applications Technical Specialist to join their dedicated team. With a strong emphasis on technology-driven solutions, they are looking for a candidate who can contribute to the success and continuous improvement of their Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.

The Enterprise Applications Technical Specialist will report directly to the Enterprise Applications Team Lead. This role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the existing Oracle ERP System, addressing changing business needs through the design, development, and deployment of custom reports and user interfaces.

Additionally, this role will play a key role in investigating and resolving ERP functionality-related issues, troubleshooting technical challenges, and identifying modifications to meet evolving user requirements. Additionally, the Specialist will provide technical and functional support for the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) Module of Oracle, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate should possess a Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 7 years in an ERP technical role or supporting function. Technical proficiency in Oracle, particularly in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), is essential. A strong background in Oracle HR modules, including HRMS, Oracle Time and Labour (OTL), and Self Service, is highly advantageous. Certification in Oracle Technical areas is a strong plus.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in various Oracle Apps Technical areas, such as PLSQL, Workflows, Oracle Forms and Reports, AME, Web Services, APIs, and Custom Application Development. Experience with ITIL processes, project management, and agile methodologies is desirable.
