Enterprise Network Security Architect

A major banking client based in the UAE is actively looking to add an experienced Network Security Architect working as part of an innovation group focused on strategic IT Roadmap initiatives.

Sitting within the wider Enterprise Architecture team, the role will involve working as part of an Innovation group looking at Data and Information Security Architecture.

The successful Network Security Architect will be tasked with assessing the current systems from a platform design and optimization perspective with a view to introducing new methods, tools and technologies where appropriate.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience providing Networking, voice and network security solutions as well as implementation experience covering Firewalls, IPS, Proxy, applications Firewalls, routing, switching, virtual private and remote access networking.

The technical environment is enterprise scale and varied. As such, candidates should have deep knowledge and experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, F5, Bluecoat, Symantec, Cisco and Avaya products/devices/technologies. Candidates will need extensive experience working within a similar role, and ideally within similar sized environments, ideally supporting thousands of users within a highly regulated and governed industry.

Candidates are also expected to hold a technical degree, along with relevant ITIL and other industry recognized certifications such as Cisco, Checkpoint or F% and Palo Alto certificates.
