Job description / Role
A multinational engineering service provider is looking to hire an Erection Specialist with experience in HRSG.
Candidates with experience working on site - Power/Energy Projects will only be considered.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful execution of the projects part allocation to him as per the planned schedule
- Responsible for the overall supervision of the project portion allocated to him for the mechanical erection activities.
- Plan, coordinate and supervised activities of the assigned project.
- Interpret and explain the plans, SOW, specification and method of the execution to supervisory personnel. Identify and quantify the risks and constraints & provide a plan for dealing with them.
- Preparation of method statements; assists to prepare the lifting study for the erection works
- Obtain the necessary permit to work (PTW) and preparation of TQs for site activities
- Discuss with supervisory personnel, client, consultant, subcontractors and design professionals; resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
- Follow-up with Subcontractors and Suppliers.
- Coordination with Engineering, QA/QC Department, HSE Department, Subcontractor and Consultants for smooth progress of job
- Monitoring of pre-fabrication, fabrication and erection works according to the latest IFC drawings; monitoring of Hydro test activities, Punch list clearance up to the final construction completion.
- Issuing the daily construction program to the direct supervisory personnel
- Assist in the commissioning activities
- Responsible to abide by the Company HR, HSE, IT, Compliance & Quality policies & procedures along with the UAE laws
- Fulfill roles and responsibilities as per "Abu Dhabi Emirate Environmental, Health and Safety Management System" (ADEHSMS) Regulatory Framework Version 2.0 or later versions (See Y:/05-HSE Manual and Procedures/Reference Documents/ADEHSMS/ AD EHSMS RF - GD - EHS Roles and Responsibilities)
Requirements
* Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering
* 8+ years' experience in mechanical construction phase for Bachelor in Engineering
* Computer literacy (e.g. MS Project , MS Office - good user skills)
* Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science & technology

* Able to work independently without supervision
* Good relationship with clients and staff
* Ability to multitask
Communication Skills
* English(read/write//speak)
