Estimator

Job description / Role

Our client have several great projects live across the UAE and are now expanding their estimating team with the exciting prospects that are imminently approaching in the market for the expo 2020.

They presently have need for an experienced Estimator, to join their extremely busy tendering team based in Dubai. The suitable candidate will be experienced in estimation and tendering major projects with a hands on approach. The position offers long term career growth with a succession plan in place to advance to Senior Estimator and beyond as the UAE business grows.

Your duties will include:
* Collating, reporting and interrogating projects costs,
* Submitting tenders,
* Effectively managing the resources of projects lifecycle,
* Monitoring of commercial support to the project managers and the project delivery team,
* Managing and reducing unnecessary costs and inefficiencies.

Requirements

* Experience with blue chip contractors, UAE experience is hugely advantageous
* At least 6 years' experience in construction, in relevant roles
* Degree qualified
* Estimating experience; proficient with modern estimation software
* Hands on approach
