Event Officer

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client an international university that is based in Dubai, we are looking to recruit a Global Events Officer.

Reporting to the Regional Director you will be responsible for providing logistical event support for the Dubai regional hub team, liaising with external organisations to organise University- led recruitment events, work with colleagues in the Student Marketing Team to ensure that appropriate , cost effective marketing materials are available for each event, liaise with student marketing and CRM teams to prepare and deliver a recruitment events communication plan to target attendees and enquirers, pre and post event, project manage international stakeholder events which take place, including but not exclusive to agent visits and conferences, sponsor visits, international delegates and visits by individuals, provide support to the Dubai regional hub team, act as the first point of contact to support the Regional Director( Dubai) and Country Development Managers, liaise with admin and recruitment at international partners, maintain a database for the region and provide support to the team with follow up calls to applicants and conversion activities.

Salary:
AED 14000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be a UAE resident, be degree educated in a relevant discipline, have experience of organising, delivering and evaluating events, excellent admin experience in an office environment with strong PR and presentation skills. Fluency in Arabic would be advantageous.
