Play Your Part

Purpose:
- To manage and oversee the delivery of all events and birthday parties across the DXBE portfolio. Will assume responsibility for all pre and post activities related to the delivery of events and birthday parties, including but not limited to, operational liaison, customer satisfaction, quality control.

Main Duties:
- Liaise with the MICE Sales team regarding event and birthday bookings.
- Have sight of the central booking calendar for all DXBE venues, alerting management to any potential overbookings or booking conflicts
- Liaise with and communicate to operational colleagues all event and birthday related requirements
- Ensure sufficient resources are available to deliver the event / birthday to expected standards
- Be the POC (point of contact) for any event / birthday related issues
- Conduct regular assessment of event / birthday delivery, regularly feeding back to Senior Management any issues or areas of concern
- Continually improve and develop the processes / tools required for customer engagement and service enhancement
- Provide on the ground assistance where appropriate in order to ensure an unmatched guest experience
- Ensure related costs are continually monitored and efficiencies are introduced where appropriate
- Proactively maximise revenue generation opportunities
- Create and maintain a centralized inventory of event / birthday equipment and consumables, identifying where cost savings and efficiencies can be made
- Devise and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the delivery of events and birthdays across the DXBE portfolio
- Support the implementation of the approved Sales Strategy as it relates to events / birthdays, including budgets and critical path.
- Proactively gather business leads and contact information from event and birthday attendees
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for management
- Suggest and implement policies, procedures and processes to ensure continuous process improvement
- Attends training and development programmes in order to continually improve knowledge and skill base pertinent to the role and career path
- Train and certify all applicable staff in the delivery of events and birthday parties to specified standards
- Identify and develop specific team members to be able to provide specialist event / birthday services, i.e. magician, DJ, Face Painter, MC and Party Host
- Follow all relevant QHSE-IMS procedures and relevant legal requirements so that a certain minimum level of product/service quality can be guaranteed, personal health & safety, the safety of others and company assets are not jeopardized and the activities carried out are consistent with DPR's vision of environmental protection and safety

Requirements

Are You a Star?

Essential:
- High School Diploma/ Completion of High School Education
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a commercial environment
- Must have been in current role within the UAE for a minimum of 2 years

Desirable:
- Excellent knowledge of all MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent spoken & written English
