What you will be doing:

- Preparation and follow-up of conference proposals in conjunction with the Sales team
- Provide assistance in the formulation of quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs
- Complete organisation of conference activity / events from confirmation to post-event follow-up in order to ensure client satisfaction.
- Co-ordination and hosting of familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow-up.
- Co-ordination and production of conference collateral material, i.e, conference kits, direct mail pieces, etc. in liaison with the Sales Manager
- Plan & initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.
- To determine effective and productive sales programs
- Relationship building with all the current and prospective customers.
- Update & upgrade knowledge and awareness of the facilities provided by the Hotel

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Opera knowledge is a must
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to easily build rapport with internal and external clients
- A 'quick thinker' with excellent problem-solving skills
- A great team player, who proactively looks to assist where possible
- Organised with a high attention to detail and the ability to coordinate a number of events simultaneously
- Previous experience in sales environment, with good understanding of hotel operations preferred
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Exposure to digital platforms
