Executive Chef/Head Chef/Chef De Cuisine Up To 23.9k Aed For A Leading Hospitality Group In UAE

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Alert the technical department in the event of a problem or, if applicable, the equipment provider
• Ensure the safety of people and property
• Monitor the competition and current environment (equipment, recipes, technology, etc.)
• Create and develop new recipes
• Monitor the organisation and distribution of tasks in accordance with current internal procedures and regulations (food safety, etc.)
• Check that the facilities and cleanliness of your equipment comply with the regulations and hygiene standards
• Inform your teams of the procedures to be followed in the event of an evacuation, first aid and attacks
• Implement and monitor corrective actions as part of reviews of working methods
• Participate in and facilitate the checks carried out by internal or external auditors
• Supervise the preparation of dishes and monitor or finish the presentation
• Ensure the quality and consistency of the delivered products
• Ensure working methods and techniques are followed
• Specific duties related to the role:
• Maintain links with the Group's catering department
• Maintain direct internal and external relationships (cooking demonstrations, exam corrections, competitions, reports, cooking classes, etc.)
• Be available to work on specific one-off projects on request from your line manager and other departments (sales, marketing, etc.)
• Demonstrate versatility and carry out tasks in your department when needed

Requirements

• POSITION: Executive Chef/Head Chef/Chef De Cuisine
• SALARY: up to 16,000 AED as basic depending on experience and qualifications plus housing and other allowances
• HIRING COMPANY: Leading Hospitality Group
• LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to any nationality, preferably European or Arabic
• Male, 45 y/o and below

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
• Proven working experience as a head chef with strong French cuisine background in any similar high-end brasserie type of restaurant
• Excellent record of kitchen management
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Capable of delegating multiple tasks
• Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
• Strong ability to accommodate tasks and people
• Extensive team management, analytical skills, sales skills, Team spirit, Innovation or Creativity, and Organisation skills
• Excellent Communication and Transparency skills
