Description
* As an Executive Director of Procurement you will be supervising a group of category managers and the operations senior manager
* You will be responsible for leading the Procurement team's strategy and sourcing plans for key spend areas including: Commercial, Festivals, Events, Campaigns as well as Marketing
* The Executive Director of Procurement will direct the activities of all functions involved in the planning, procurement, warehousing and control of materials and services
* As an Executive Director of Procurement, you will lead and supervise the relationship management of key Procurement 'customers' (SRM)
* You will be required to identify opportunities to improve procurement effectiveness as well as develop an action plan for implementation in close conjunction with internal stakeholders

Requirements

The successful candidate for this role will be a UAE national with over 10 years of procurement experience and a proven record in understanding the international, regional and local supply markets and working practices.

The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in B.A. or equivalent, be fluent in English & Arabic and must possess strong IT skills. The candidate must be based in Dubai and will preferably have a recognized procurement qualification (CIPS or equivalent).
