Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Handling storage and blending of Fuel Oil to meet the contractual specifications.
- Formulations of ops plan to drive the trading operations.
- Cargo quality and quantity control.
- Provide full spectrum of cargo trading operations and ensure all shipments are running smoothly.
- Exercise operational risk control during execution of each contract and shipment.
- Liaise closely and maintain good relationship with counter-parties, terminal, surveyors, agents and ship owner.
- Maintaining operational, logistic and blending optimization to add value of trading strategy and maximize profit/minimize loss and cost.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Fuel Oil Operations.
- Degree in Business, Economics, Chemistry or degree holders in other fields with relevant skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge and experience in Middle East and or Africa markets preferred.
- Willing to work long hours and be on 24-hr standby.
- Candidate will be based in Dubai.
