Executive (PR & Communications)

Job description / Role

Client is a leading PR and communications agency is looking for talented individuals with a flair for writing to join their expanding team.

As part of the client-handling team, the role will be responsible for:
- Carrying out thorough research on clients, prospect clients and other topics
- Producing high quality client account ‘essentials’ in both languages
- Establishing a strong network of media contacts
- Implementing media programs / communications plans
- Placing stories with trade, national and international press
- Carrying out sector analysis work and monitoring sector news
- Producing high quality client account ‘essentials’ (biogs, actions reports, agendas, corporate snapshots, media reviews, press releases, internal communications, etc).
- Understanding of a wide range of business and financial topics, and to be able to represent the company in front of clients at certain occasions.

Requirements

The successful candidate could be a fresh graduate with an understating of the communications industry or journalism, or has some experience in communications either from an advisory role or in-house within a reputable company. They should be able to communicate fluently and effectively (both written and spoken) in Arabic and English.

Desired Skills:
- Writing original Arabic and English content
- Research skills
- Ability to build media relations
- Candidate should have 0-3 years of experience. (Preference is given to those with experience in communications agencies or other consultancies.)
