Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To provide efficient and effective organizational support to GCFO, helping him develop, prioritize and manage his agenda of critical business priorities. This will be a temporary position for 5 months, starting in November 2015.

Principal Accountabilities

Agenda Prioritizing
- Define an agenda of priorities for the direct reports, identifying, detailing and obtaining buy-in for key initiatives that should be of focus
- Prepare briefings on meetings to ensure that GCFO is fully prepared for all engagements
- Accompany GCFO to all meetings to document meeting minutes and action items, ensuring ownership and accountability for execution
- Pro-actively review GCFO's agenda and ensure it reflects critical priorities and changing business dynamics

Agenda Management
- Schedule progress update meetings between GCFO and his direct reports and the committees and groups to which he is a member
- Develop and agree effective meeting agendas in advance to ensure urgent matters are prioritized and given appropriate attention
- Demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity and diplomacy to follow up progress and resolution of action items as assigned in the meetings
- Pro-actively track and report progress of outstanding action items, troubleshooting issues where necessary and escalating for GCFO's attention when appropriate
- Validate that action items have been implemented and his agenda is on track

Ad-hoc Projects & Support
- Project manage ad-hoc assignments as directed
- Identify, propose and implement improvements to the way the his office is managed
- Prepare power point presentation as required by the GCFO

Requirements

- People skills including decision making and collaborating with internal and external parties.
- Good oral and written English communication.
- Proficient in Office application with sound knowledge in Oracle application.
- Bachelors degree or relevant qualifications
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
