Export Assistant - French Speaker (Incoterms / LCs / Shipping Experience)

For a prestigious MNC.

Your duties will be to take care of a Region (french speaking countries):
- The export assistant coordinates activities between all parties to an international transaction including the customer, the freight forwarder and the supplier and ensures that such activities conform to internal rules and business terms and agreements.
- He expedites and monitors the movement of cross trade shipments.
- He is responsible for providing assistance in shipping and preparing export documentation (invoices, B/L, packing lists…) before vessels arrive at destination. This includes letter of credits. He liaises with various departments such as Sales and the Supply Chain.
- To make it brief, the export assistant provides Customers services and serves in the administrative capacity.
- He gives shipping instructions to the various parties by coordinating supplier and freight forwarders, monitors shipments and ensures fast documentation to satisfy Customers.

Requirements

- Excellent knowledge of letter of credit + marine shipments+ Incoterms
- French speaker.
- Must have previous experience with a Trading company / Logistic company / Freight forwarder
