Facilities Hard Services Manager

Charterhouse is working with a major government organisation based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking to hire a Facilities Hard Services Manager to manage a range of highly prestigious projects.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for the entire technical aspects of the buildings and management of all onsite contractors. You will implement policies and procedures and drive the business forward showing vision. You will still remain hands-on to an extent, advising on strategies for the hard and soft services of your engineering team.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a BSc Degree and be an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer by trade (basic qualifications are acceptable). You should have a background of supervising major commercial properties in either the Americas, Europe, the Far East or Australia. It is essential you have experience of managing a form of high rise towers coupled with a solid 10 to 15 years' experience in facilities management. In addition, you should be proficient in handling stakeholder management duties as well as possess a corporate understanding and have the ability to liaise and deal with VIP clients and high profile individuals.
